Wolters Kluwer CCH has been reporting family law cases since the inception of the Family Court of Australia following the commencement of the Family Law Act in 1975.
To ensure all cases are freely available to both practitioners and litigants, Austlii and the Family Court of Australia sought to fill a gap in their precedent case law from the years 1976 to 1988.
Wolters Kluwer CCH came to the rescue, providing over 800 judgments to the Family Court of Australia and Austlii for free publication on their websites, thus closing a gap in precedent case law and allowing access to justice for all.
To celebrate this, Austlii, the Family Court of Australia and Wolters Kluwer CCH came together on Friday 23 June 2017. The Honourable Chief Justice Diana Bryant AO officially launched the body of law, celebrated this achievement and marked the important part Wolters Kluwer CCH plays in judgment reporting.
